Heart Tell

Alcohol and bed set in the yard vampires between the sheets.
A full tank of gas and when it runs out we’ll park between the streets.
I think we have a reason we’re going south, we veered from the main road.
If it gets too quiet we’ll sing out familiar songs we know.

Wherever all the people go
wherever all the winds may blow,
I’ll stay with you.

The car finally died a rain cloud cried, tears filled up the sky
a green grassy hill where the rain fell still, is where we began to climb.
When times get tough they get a looooooong time,
they get long time.

Wherever all the people go
wherever all the winds may blow,
I’ll stay with you.

At the top of the hill the sun was shining brightly
and the warmth that it gave dried us out completely.

Our hands were reaching for a stop
eyes locked and time ———.
